Nancy M. Manteufel's Obituary
Nancy M. Manteufel (nee Ebersberger), 66, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born on October 11, 1956, to Eugene and Jean Ebersberger of Westbury, NY. She graduated from W. Tresper Clarke High School in 1974. Nancy spent her early career working for the Department of Defense Naval Supply in Philadelphia, PA. Later, she devoted her time to raising her daughter, volunteering for the American Red Cross, Alzheimer’s Association, ESL services, and the garden committee at her church.
She enjoyed crafting, fishing, camping, gardening, and above all, spending time with friends and family. Nancy was a devoted steward of St. Michael’s and Apostles Lutheran Churches. She served her church communities as a Communion Assistant, member of the property and finance committees, and as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, William P. Manteufel, her beloved daughter Tracy Gionta and husband Alexander of Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by her siblings, Jane Ebersberger of Westbury NY, James Ebersberger and his wife Carol of Tabernacle, NJ, her two nephews, Timothy (Alexandra) and Tyler (Stephanie) Ebersberger, her great nephew Carter, as well as other extended family.
The family will be holding a memorial service in Nancy's honor. The service will be held at Saint Michael's Lutheran Church in Cherry Hill, NJ on April 22, 2023 at 11 AM.
