Nancy Wellborn's Obituary

Nancy Wellborn, 82, a longtime resident of Mount Laurel, NJ, and formerly of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on February 12, 2026.
Born on August 30, 1943, in Charlotte, NC, Nancy was the daughter of the late Lawson and Mary Evans. Nancy was a former legal secretary. She was a proud member of the Jersey Sound Chorus since 2000. Singing was a huge part of her life, and she cherished the friendships, competitions, and travels shared with her chorus family. When she wasn’t singing, Nancy enjoyed quilting and bowling, and she had a deep love for cats.
Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Thomas, her daughter Linda and sister, Sue E. Smith. She is survived by her sons Tom Wellborn (Julie), Michael Wellborn, Scott Wellborn (Tessa). She was a proud grandmother to Sarah, Ethan, Virginia, Jake, Georgie, and Jack, who brought her endless joy.
She is also survived by her sister, Anita E. Mills, of Pageland, SC and former daughter in law Donna Kellum.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street, Marlton, NJ from 4:00pm to 5:00pm with her memorial service beginning at 5:00pm.
