Ned Ringwood's Obituary
Ned Ringwood, a resident of Moorestown, passed away on January 30th after a valiant struggle with addiction. He was 27 years old.
Ned graduated from Moorestown High School, Class of 2009, before attending Boston University. He lived and worked in Philadelphia, the city he loved, for 6 years after Boston, as well as time recently spent back in Moorestown.
An adoring fan of local music in Philadelphia, he was himself a passionate musician with a special love of guitar, mandolin, and banjo. Happiness was playing music with his brother David, biking through his favorite Philadelphia neighborhoods, including Clark Park, vacation time with family in the Outer Banks where he loved surfing, and reading his favorite authors. Ned was a gentle, caring soul with a philosophical nature. His intense love of animals led him to care for numerous stray Philadelphia cats and ultimately adopting one as his own.
Smart, inquisitive, fun-loving with the warmest smile and biggest hug, Ned loved with his whole heart. Ned leaves behind his adoring family. Jack and Ceecy’s cherished son leaves behind his twin brother David (wife Kate), and his younger brother Ben. He is also survived by his adoring grandmother, Jane Miller Acaster, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly. Life will not be the same for any of us since he lost his battle.
We invite relatives and friends to attend Ned’s memorial gathering at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street, on Saturday, February 10, from 10 am to 12 pm. A memorial service will begin at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ned’s memory may be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA, www.pspca.org.
