Nicholas Rogers, of New Jersey and Florida, passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 29 after an aggressive battle with cancer. Through it all, he never lost his fierce independence or the spark that made him unforgettable.
Born on January 29, 1996, to Beth Lynn Breiner and Joseph Simsiesak, Nicholas was raised by and shared a special bond with his grandmother, Linda. He will be deeply missed by her, by his “Lar Bear” — his grandfather Larry Palmquist — and by his loving grandparents Linda Greer and Stewart Braizer. He was a beloved nephew to Daniel Rogers Jr. (Chelsea) and Doug Rogers (Jessica), and a cherished brother to his sisters, Zoey Frake and Briana Briener, and uncle to Chase, Colton, and Ember. He will also be missed by his siblings Alexis Simicsak, Sara Simicsak, and Joseph Simicsak, Jr., as well as many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
Nicholas was a true daredevil with a passion for skateboarding, bike riding, and working on mechanics with his friends. Always eager to try new things, he brought an energy and optimism that drew people to him. He was happy, giving, and caring — everyone liked him. He had a big heart and a deep desire to always do better for himself and those around him.
Some of his happiest memories were the simple joys: trips to Acme and Walmart with his grandmother Linda, and his favorite treat — blueberry water ice from Primo’s.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 24th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
Nicholas’s light shone brightly and far too briefly, and he will be remembered always for the love and joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
