Nico James Jackson's Obituary
With hearts broken beyond measure, we share that our beloved Nico James Jackson passed away on August 6, 2025, at just 2 years old, cradled in love and surrounded by his family after an extraordinary and courageous battle with leukemia.
Born on July 2, 2023, Nico entered the world with the brightest eyes, the sweetest dimples, and a light that never dimmed, even in the darkest moments. Though his time with us was far too short, Nico’s impact was immeasurable. He faced everyday of his life with a rare resilience and unmatched spirit, enduring more than most could in a lifetime with bravery, charm, and a contagious smile.
Nico was deeply adored by his parents, Alexandra Natale Jackson and Clarence Jackson Jr, and his proud big sister Natalia. He was cherished by his grandparents: James Natale “Nonno”, Diane DeSilva Owens “Nana” (Rod), Anita Jackson “Glamma”, Clarence Jackson Sr “G-pa”, and lovingly surrounded by many devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and his faithful fur brother, Jax.
He was a boy full of wonder, captivated by The Lion King, which he watched endlessly, finding strength in Simba’s roar. Always carrying his beloved fork, affectionately known as his “security fork,” Nico brought joy and laughter wherever he went. His magnetic personality drew people in; his warmth and silliness made him unforgettable. He had a special way of making everyone around him smile. He touched the hearts of everyone privileged enough to meet him.
Nico was an old soul in a little body. Wise, strong, and impossibly brave. Despite a life filled with hospitals and treatments, his heart was full of love, he taught us what really matters and reminded us how to keep going even when it’s hard. He was and will always be our warrior, our teacher, our sunshine, our greatest inspiration.
Nico’s legacy will live on in the countless lives he moved, the love he sparked, and the strength he showed us all. We will miss him every second of every day. We will carry him with us always.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nico's visitation on Monday, August 11th, 2025, from 4pm - 6pm in Givnish Funeral Homes, located at 398 E. Main Street, Marlton, NJ, 08053.
Interment will be held privately.
