Nilda Jaro Saraza's Obituary
Nilda Jaro Saraza, 83 of Marlton, NJ passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Imus Medical Center in Imus, Cavite Philippines.
Born in Tanzang Luma Imus Cavite Philippines to the late Luciano D. and Felicidad J. Saraza on July 3, 1941. She is survived by her siblings, Angelina Saraza, Leonida (Felimon) Cani, Fanny (Dan) Macariola. She is predeceased by her siblings, Wilfredo (Nenita) Saraza, Almario Saraza, and Jose Saraza. Nilda was also survived by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, extended family and friends who will miss her greatly.
Nilda is a graduate of Philippine College: DeOcampo Memorial School of Nursing in Manila Philippines 1964. She traveled to the United States in 1967 with her best friend, Maggie Guevarra seeking new nursing opportunities. She was a devoted nurse. She worked in the Operating Room for 30 plus years at Methodist Hospital, the Intensive Care Unit at St. Agnes Hospital, and was a per diem nurse at Albert Einstein Hospital.
Nilda was a longtime faithful, devoted parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Parish. She dedicated her time to her family and attended every event. She always did for others and never expected anything in return. Her love for her family was boundless, especially her role as a loving godmother, alway offering guidance and support. She was everyone’s Ninang (godmother). Nilda loved to frequent the casinos and play mahjong with her friends. She loved to travel, whether it was back and forth to the Philippines to see family or cruising to the Caribbean and many other countries abroad She was dearly loved by everyone and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Nilda was laid to rest on October 29, 2024 at Angelos Enternal Garden in the City of Imus Cavite Philippines. A Celebration of her life will be held on March 9. 2025 from 12:00pm - 4:00pm at the Gibson House Community Center, 535 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ.
