NOLA TERESA PAULSON
AUGUST 29,1927 - FEBRUARY 23,2025
With a heavy heart, the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, Nola Teresa Paulson (nee Porreca) who passed away on February 23, 2025 at age 97. Nola was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa
She is survived by Alfred, her husband of 68 years and children: Nola (John) Mahoney, Alfred (Debbie) Paulson, Daniel (Brenda) Paulson, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Nola was a beautiful, faithful, loving women who fiercely loved her family and dogs. For many years she had a hobby breeding program raising and showing Yorkies and Poodles from her home in Glenside Pa.
She spent summers growing up with her family in Ventnor NJ on Martindale Ave and passed her love of the ocean onto her children and grandchildren. Nola adored her family and relished in their accomplishments. In these latter years she also enjoyed many trips to Europe and throughout the United States. She loved making jewelry and porcelain dolls. She had a passion for sewing, a talent passed down from her father, a merchant tailor.
Nola was predeceased by her parents, Anthony N and Teresita Porreca and 3 brothers: Daniel (Maybeth), Henry (Mary) and Adolph (Anna) Porreca
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson NJ on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 10:30 am. Private Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
