Norman G. Hanratty's Obituary
Norman G. Hanratty passed away suddenly on October 3, 2016. Born in Darby, PA. Norman was 51 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1992. Beloved husband of 27 years to Susan (nee DeRitis). Loving father of Kristin and Ryan Hanratty. Son of the late Richard and Mary Hanratty. Brother of Mary (Joe) Finnerty, Patty (George) Hill, Joanie (Chuck) McDonnell, Colleen (Ward) Mintzer, Richard Jr. (the late Joyce), Peggy (Gary) Christie and Helen (Tom) Perrotta. Son-in-law of John and Rosalie DeRitis, and brother-in-law of John Jr. (Sandy). Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Norm was employed for 23 years as a carpenter for SEPTA and a member of the Transportation Workers Union Local 234. He coached several sports in Cinnaminson, but was most passionate about baseball. Norm was a talented craftsman and avid Philly sports fan who enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Norm’s Life Celebration and viewing Friday Eve 6-9 p.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130, and Saturday 8:30-10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Branch Pike at Pomona Rd., Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m.
