Norman J. Hathaway passed away peacefully on December 1, 2020 at Samaritan Hospice surrounded by his family. Born in 1936, Norm was 84 years old. He was a lifelong resident of Cinnaminson. Brother of Mary Wallace, George (Marie) Read Obituary
Mr. Hathaway had a kind and gentle spirit about him. Many of my childhood memories visiting my grandfather on the farm included seeing Mr. Hathaway. He was always had a smile on his face and a word of encouragement for me.

Sergeant Hathaway, Mr. Hathaway, Norm and as I called him later in life Stormin Norman. I grew up on Windsor drive with his family for 40 years. As a child he watched after me as well as a teenager and a young man. We always spoke and had open conversation. He was truly a parent figure as well as a friend who always had a positive twist on everything. My memories of the past 20 years or so are working with him at SCB Carnival talking about old times while he opened clams and I served them. Norm was able to meet my son and watch him grow up as well. He will be sorely missed and is in my thoughts and prayers. Jim Clyde
Mr. Hathaway was a special dear close friend of my father. He was a wonderful, kind and caring person who always had a smile and a loving spirit. My entire family loved him. I know he and my father are up there swapping stories and laughing together as they ALWAYS did. Just thinking of them together brings a smile. He touched the lives of so many and he will be truly missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace Mr. Hathaway. No more trouble, no more pain! GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!!! My deepest sympathy to the Family. May God grant you peace, strength and comfort. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!
So sorry to hear of Norms passing. Norm was great to work for and one of the nicest people I ever met who always had a smile and kind word for everyone. RIP SGT.
I have fond memories of Mr. Hathaway and the close relationship he had with my father Frank Webster. They were such good friends and took the time out each day to greet and fellowship with each other. Those days on the farm were so special to my dad and my entire family. He was always a gentleman and never had a discouraging word for anyone. He had a beautiful spirit and the biggest heart along with his daily air of friendliness. When my father passed he was right there and I spoke of their enduring relationship.He thanked me on the day of the funeral for mentioning him and I was more than glad to do that because he was a very big part of my father’s life. I know angels in heaven are rejoicing and there will be many friends and family to welcome him into the gates of heaven. My sincere condolences go out to the family and I pray for your comfort in the Lord.
One of my favorite memories of my cousin Norm ❤️❤️❤️ was when we were kids, we were playing Captain Midnight and Mary Marvel, We had our pillow case capes and we were perched high atop the city ( on top of the chicken coop in the back yard) . Norm, (Captain Midnight) leapt into action and right into the middle of the rhubarb patch, he told me to jump down and join him. so I did, and wound up spraining both my ankles! Mary Marvel crashed and burned😂😂. Norm had to help me hobble up to the house, all the way there the BRAVE Captain Midnight begging me to stop crying because it was gonna get us both in trouble!!!!🤣🤣🤪🤪 So many wonderful memories!
