Norman L. Wilson's Obituary
Norman Lee Wilson, Sr, 84, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024. Born in New Virginia, Iowa to Rosco and Mildred Wilson. Loving husband to Helene Althea Wilson (nee Beese) for 64 years. Dear father to Debora Gamble (William), Norman Lee Wilson Jr. (Liane), and the late Sherry Altomare. Grandfather to Jennifer Stevens, John Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Fawn Korn (Matthew), Nicolas Altomare (Lauren), Heather Altomare, Margaret Wilson, Catherine Lazar (Austin), Victoria Wilson, Sydney, Liam, and Riley. Great Grandfather to Brianna, Brandon, Tyler, Trevon, Eric, Lily, Angelina, Annabella, DeAngelo, Amura, Hailey and Jackson.
Norman worked as a Motor Power and Equipment specialist for the federal government for many years. When he wasn’t working, Norman and his wife Helene enjoyed traveling the world. Some of their favorite destinations include the Panama Canal, Hawaii, Alaska, and the Caribbean. Norman spent his downtime on the golf course, bowling alley, or at the Cinnaminson Community Center playing Bridge with his friends. He was proud to be a Worshipful Master Mason. Most of all he will be remembered by the love he has for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, May 20th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 10:00am to 11:30am with his memorial service beginning at 11:30am. Inurnment and military honors will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman’s name may be made to Samaritan Hospice, www.Samaritannj.org
