Patricia Ann Bower's Obituary
Patricia Ann Bower (nee Meredith) of Delran, NJ, passed away suddenly on June 19th, 2026, at the age of 86.
Born to the late Walter and Anna (nee McKenna) on September 24th, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA. Patricia is the beloved big sister of Catherine Molloy, Walter Meredith, Joseph Meredith, and James Meredith. Growing up in Philadelphia, Patricia attended Little Flower High School as part of the graduating class of 1957. Shortly after high school, Patricia met the love of her life, the late Roger Bower. The pair met between mutual friends and formed a deep connection rooted in friendship and shared family values. The young couple married on September 9th, 1961, in St. Martin of Tours Church in Philadelphia, spending a loving 52 years together before Roger’s passing in 2014.
As a young couple, they wished for a family of their own to pass down traditions and years of knowledge from generations before. Patricia and Roger’s wishes came true when they welcomed their six loving children into their lives, Roger (Barb), Patricia (Scott), Kathleen (Ed), Joanne (Matt), James (Eva), and Michael (Jen). Patricia loved being their mom. She created core family memories that her children could carry with them throughout their lives, such as the memories of spending time in the Poconos, or traveling through Tobyhanna State Park. As the children grew older and started families of their own, Patricia gained a new role as Gran to her seventeen beloved grandchildren and will be reunited in death with her granddaughter, Meredith. Patricia was not only blessed to have seventeen grandchildren, she was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, who she cherished deeply.
When Patricia was not spending time with her family, she could be found reading a novel on the couch, bowling with her sister Catherine, or catching up with family over a quick phone call.
Patricia is remembered deeply by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends for her selfless, kind personality, and her heart of gold.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Patricia's viewing on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, from 9am - 11am, followed by a funeral ceremony at 11am in Givnish Funeral Homes, located at 1200 US Rt. 130 N., Cinnaminson, NJ, 08077. Patricia will be reunited with her late husband of 52 years, Roger (2014), in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne, PA, immediately following the ceremony.
