Patricia A. Czerwonka's Obituary
Patricia Ann Czerwonka, 80, of Atco, NJ passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023. Born on September 2, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Joseph and Bernadette Watt. Dear wife to John “Jack” Czerwonka for over 59 years. Beloved mother to John “Jack” M. Czerwonka (Christina), Cheryl Matteson (Christopher), Patricia Czerwonka Langella (Christopher), Karen Simek (Jeffrey) and James Czerwonka (Kristen). Grandmother to Alex Matteson (Bridget), Gianni Langella, Kaitlyn Matteson, Matthew Simek, Eric Czerwonka, Silas Matteson, Jack Matteson, Lylah Czerwonka, Ella Czerwonka, Christian Simek and Carly Simek. Great Grandmother to Anna Matteson and Daniel Matteson. Pat was predeceased by her siblings, James Link, Joseph Watt, Vincent Watt, and Mary Watt. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pat loved to travel with friends and family, especially to Disney World, on bus tours and going down to the Jersey Shore. Her faith was important to her, and she would frequently attend mass, most recently at Church of the Assumption in Atco, NJ. Pat loved her dogs. Most of all, Pat loved spending time with her family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street from 8:00am to 10:15am. Her funeral mass will follow at Assumption Church, Christ the Redeemer Parish in Atco, NJ. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s name may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, www.JDRF.org , the Wounded Warriors Project www.WoundedWarriorProject.org. or Catholic Charities, www.catholiccharitiesusa.org
