Patricia A Penna's Obituary
Patricia A. Penna
Patricia Ann Penna (nee Creagh) of Delanco, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday, April 20, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was 88 years old. Patricia was born, grew up, and graduated from business school in Montreal, Canada. It was there that she fell in love with a young photographer, Victor, from Toronto. They married and had two children before moving to Boston in 1958. Their adventure was just beginning. Victor’s work took them to Falls Church, VA where they had a third child, then moved to Willingboro, NJ where they had a fourth child. Work brought them back to Boston in 1982 for 22 years, and then home to NJ to retire among their children and grandchildren. Patricia had a lifetime passion for travel, enjoyed swimming, playing piano, and was a voracious reader of mystery, finance, and medicine. She spoiled her family with her baking and gourmet cooking, but she will be remembered most as a proud mother and grandmother. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Victor Penna, her daughters Cecilia Penna of Mount Laurel and Cindy Mariani (Joseph) of Delran, her sons Vincent Penna (Diane) of Delran and Richard Penna of Burlington, as well as nine grandchildren: Aimee Hearon (Scott), Logan Penna, Holly Penna, Amanda Penna, Ashley Ibegbu (Chiso), Sarah Penna, Cheryl Anthoney (Daniel), Lisa Mariani, and Christopher Mariani. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and pay their respects from 6 to 8pm Wednesday, April 24, and 9 to 10am Thursday, April 25 at Givnish Funeral Home 1200 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. The Funeral Mass will follow by at 10:30am Thursday April 25 at Saint Charles Borromeo Church in Cinnaminson, NJ. Internment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice of Burlington County www.SamaritanNJ.org .
