Patrick N. Basnett's Obituary
Patrick N. Basnett, of Marlton, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2024. Born in the U.S. Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Don and Blanche (nee Jankowski) Basnett, he was 58 years old.
Patrick was the beloved husband of Tina M. (nee Woolston); devoted father of P.J. Basnett (Lauren) and Brittany Basnett; cherished Pop Pop of Maddox and Octavia; dear brother of Keith and Don Basnett. He was predeceased by his siblings Carol and Larry Basnett. Patrick is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
Patrick was a United States Air Force veteran, as well as a Corrections officer for Midstate Prison, Fort Dix and Yardville Correctional Facility, Yardville, NJ. He was also a firearms instructor for the department of corrections.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, on Saturday November 16th from 11 am to 1 pm. A service followed by military honors will begin at 1 pm. The service will be livestreamed: https://www.viewlogies.net/givnish/ebOvvz3MM?pin=472758
Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patrick may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org, or to the Veterans Affairs, www.cdceportal.va.gov/donate_online/
