Patrick M. Flynn Sr.'s Obituary
Patrick M. Flynn, Sr. passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Virtua Hospital in Marlton, NJ. Born in Philadelphia to Edward Bernard, Sr. and Rose Lillian Flynn, Patrick was 73 years old. He was a resident of Marlton for 41 years, grew up in Woodbury for eight years and attended West Deptford High School for three years.
After high school, Patrick joined the US Navy, where he proudly served in the Vietnam War.
Patrick was the owner of SNF Premium Properties in Marlton, NJ and he also was employed by UPS for 15 years.
Patrick enjoyed watching professional sports and participating in numerous events including softball, golf, bowling and racquetball. He also enjoyed coaching Marlton Recreation baseball and soccer. More importantly, he cherished spending time with his family. Survived by, is his loving wife of 53 years, Doris F. (Nee Gasparovic) Flynn, his daughter Jennifer R. Flynn (Michael Van Horn), his son Patrick M. Flynn, Jr. (Rachel Lesse), his beloved grandchildren; Sophia and Dominic. Patrick was the brother of Carol Cuthbertson (William), Thomas Patrick Flynn (Mary Jean), and the late Edward Bernard Flynn, Jr. (Sandy).
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Due to the unusual circumstances there will be no viewing and interment will be private at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FASA (Fellowship Alliance Chapel South Africa), c/o James Walter Jr., 2100 South Fire Land Road, Southampton, NJ 08088 in memory of Patrick Flynn.
