Paul Reed Baltimore's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paul Reed Baltimore announce his passing on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 49. Paul was born in Bermuda, raised by his mother Patricia “Pat” in Philadelphia along with his brother, Peter “Pete”, and lived in Sacramento, CA for the past 8 years of his life.
Paul earned a doctorate from UC Santa Barbara and became a dedicated, passionate teacher. He engaged his students with his extensive knowledge and overwhelming love of history. He should not only be known as an Adjunct Professor; Paul was many, many things. He was a scholar, activist, artist, cartoonist and a very talented writer. More so than that, Paul was a friend and advocate to so many. He touched numerous lives, could light up any room with his infectious smile and helped to change this world for the better.
Paul is survived by his loving and dedicated mother, Patricia Baltimore, his superhero sidekick and brother, Peter Baltimore and “Jersey” wife Christine Zeiger, his beautiful nieces, Kayla and Riley Baltimore, his adoring nephews Bryce and Trevor Danson, his brilliant great-niece, Peyton Farrell, his adorable great-nephew, Michael Macker, and and copious amounts of friends that are more like family.
A celebration of Paul’s life will take place on Wednesday, April 21st. Friends and family are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 9:30 am to 11 am. Sharing and remembrances will begin at 11 am. Paul's service will be live streamed, and can be viewed using this link: https://my.gather.app/remember/paul-reed-baltimore.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made (via Venmo @Pete-Baltimore) to defray costs and to help to start a non profit organization in Paul’s name to continue his crusade for Adjunct Professors.
