Paul R. Benish's Obituary
Paul R. Benish passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Paul was 57 years old.
Beloved husband of 24 years to Stacy Benish (nee Dengel). Loving father of Jessica Esposito (Raymond), Michael Chester (Gabriella), Melanie Benish, and Paul Benish.
Loving son of Paul A. and Jacqueline Benish, and devoted son-in-law to Ronald and Sheila Dengel. Cherished grandfather of the late McKenna Jean and Maeleigh Belle. Brother of Lynne Benish (Matt), Jill Abbott (Steve), Nicole Benish, and sister-in-law Tina Gentile. Uncle to his nephews and nieces: Tyler, Julianne, and Elizabeth (Abbott), Johnny, Ronnie, and Giovanna (Gentile). Also surviving are countless family members and friends.
Born on December 27, 1966, in Philadelphia, Paul grew up in Delran and has been a resident of Cinnaminson since 1997. Paul was in housing construction and the successor of Benish Crane Services in Hainesport. Paul was an avid hockey player and passed the tradition on to his sons whom he coached their teams for many years. He enjoyed several activities, hobbies, listening to music, and was an all-around athlete, and car enthusiast. Paul loved taking care of his dogs, Boomer and Otto, and all of his reptiles throughout the years. Paul was hard-working, funny, loyal, loving, and a dedicated family man. Paul was a devout parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Riverton and was God’s gift to everybody who knew him.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church 103 4th Street Riverton, NJ. Paul’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
