Paul Konieczka...you can't hear that name and not smile. Always fun to be around. I swear him and Dustin Hoffman had the same speaking voice. Loved playing softball with and against him. Great guy but boy he did love to win! That Polish American softball team was something.

Uncle Paul had a knack for active listening and making you feel like you belonged there & what you had to say really mattered. What a rare and precious gift in today's world! He helped me feel like I was part of the family and not an outsider- a stranger from the "other side. " Now that I can see it, in his memory I will practice the same.

Den and I are so sorry we could't be there but our hearts are thinking of our dear beloved Povilas ... The guy everyone wanted at their party --- knowing you would have a good time if he were there! I can see in my memory Paul and my brother Al standing next to each other and snickering about something (both of them were impish at heart). Paul left us a legacy of laughter --- I still laugh out loud recalling some of his quips! In my heart I'm singing this chorus ... "When we ALL get to heaven,

I had the opportunity to play against Paul for many many years when he pitched for the PACC . Paul was one of the best pitchers in the South Jersey we had so many intense games in those years Paul was always a gentleman on and off the field.Rest in Peace my friend ,Gods Speed
