Paul W. Stahl's Obituary
Paul W. Stahl, 60, of Ocean City, NJ, formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ, and Burlington Township, NJ, passed away suddenly on April 14, 2026. Born on April 21, 1965, in Meadowbrook, PA, he was the beloved son of Elizabeth Stahl (née Russell) and the late Paul A. Stahl III.
Paul was a devoted father to Maggie Stahl (Rhys Theros), Matthew Stahl (Allie Satterfield), Michael Stahl, and Jacob Stahl. He was a loving brother to Beth Ann Paczewski (Allen), Mary Ann Patton (Rich), and Andrew Stahl (Caroline). He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Paul graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University, where he played baseball and earned his bachelor’s degree. After college, he continued his baseball career in the Rancocas Valley League (RVL) men’s semi-pro baseball league. Sports remained a lifelong passion, whether cheering on his favorite Philadelphia teams, the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers, or coaching his children and other young athletes throughout the years.
He took great pride in his home, especially his lawn, and could often be found spending weekends outdoors doing yard work and landscaping. Ocean City held a special place in his heart, where he spent summers growing up before eventually making it his home. He enjoyed surf fishing, riding waves and building in the sand with his children, and taking adventurous deep-sea fishing trips with friends.
Paul loved bringing people together. He was an enthusiastic cook and grill master, known for hosting his cherished ‘Side of Beef Sunday’, a standing invitation where family was expected, no matter what. He found great joy in sharing good times with loved ones, often gathered around a table filled with seafood, laughter, and stories that will be cherished forever. Paul will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, quick wit, and unforgettable one-liners.
He shared a particularly special bond with his mother, who supported him unconditionally throughout his life in a way only a mother can.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson. Luncheon to follow after mass at Barrones in Moorestown at 12pm.
