Pete C. Laquitara's Obituary
Peter C. Laquitara, 51, resident of Maple Shade, NJ passed away on Friday December 4, 2020 after a brave and determined battle with cancer.
Pete was a loyal and steadfast husband, son, brother, friend and had a lifelong passion for music. Highly respected as a guitarist in the local music scene, Pete was currently making music and performing with local bands: Lady Diesel, EG Band and Sunset Strip. He was known as being the quickest wit in the room with the driest sense of humor, and the best laugh to go along with it. If you ever asked Pete to take a picture of you with your phone, you surely have at least a dozen selfies of himself, which we now have to treasure, along with the picture or two he snapped for you. Professionally, Pete was a successful salesman with Alldata where he proudly worked for over 10 years. To know Pete was to love him.
Pete Laquitara is survived by his mother Kathleen McCammon(Bill), his father Peter J. Laquitara and his stepmother Patricia Laquitara. Pete was the beloved husband of Bonnie Laquitara(nee Carrigan) and a devoted brother to his siblings Whitney Mutter(Ryan), (late)Paul Laquitara, Vanessa Crupi(Anthony), and Jennifer Ritter(Adam). He also leaves behind his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends, who will all miss him dearly.
