Bruce Meyer
I was writing to cousin Peter today, having gotten his email from Aunt Sally Meyer over the holidays. I was shocked to find his obituary online!
"Dear Cousin Peter,
Happy New Year. It has been way too long since we communicated!
I started a Facebook page for family history related posts that I hope you will find interesting. I have also been putting together a family genealogy that is pretty extensive - with the exception of the newer generations. Can you help me fill in your family's info?

Time has a way of getting past us sometimes. I may not have been in direct contact with Peter for a long time - but that does not mean I was not thinking of him and following his life's progress via conversations with Uncle Andy Meyer.
I have inherited, one way or another from different family members, the Meyer archives and have recently been putting together Uncle Alton's pictures and memorabilia from early childhood, to high school, to B17 Army Pilot. It was my intent to present Peter with his father's legacy as well as his entire Meyer family's. I am devastated that I have missed that opportunity.
I would love to hear from the Peter Meyer family and reconnect our bonds and share our history.
Cousin Bruce Meyer
