Peter G. Woodcock's Obituary
Peter G. Woodcock passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his residence in Marlton with his family at his side. Born Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England UK to Kenneth and Colleen Woodcock, Pete was 59 years old. Beloved husband of 29 years to Jeanne M. (nee Leporati). Loving father of Abigail, Caitlin and Connor. Brother of Neil (Jane) Woodcock, Kim (Late Bill) Murton. Uncle to Emily, and Mark Woodcock and Matthew, Michael and Emma Murton. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of Marie Leporati and the late John Leporati. Brother-in-law of Chris Leporati and Michael Leporati.
Pete was a school teacher for 27 years at Pennsauken High School where he was the high school soccer coach. He also was a CCD teacher at St. Joan of Arc parish.
He was a regional South Jersey Youth soccer referee. Pete coached his three children in multiple sports. His favorite team was Watford Football Club in the United Kingdom.
He enjoyed refereeing and watching soccer. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughters and going to Phillies games with his son.
A gathering of family and friends will be held this Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton 398 East Main Street.
Peter’s Funeral Mass will follow 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church.
