Phyllis A. White's Obituary
Phyllis A. White (née Czaja), of Palmyra, NJ, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. She was 80 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Theodore and Jean Czaja, Phyllis had been a devoted resident of Palmyra since 1966. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Helene (Bill) Peters.
Phyllis was a loving mother to Lisa (Eric) Gross, Kelly (Marty) Leaf, and the late Charles “Kevin” White. She was the cherished Mommom of Molly L. Gross, who brought her endless joy. Phyllis is survived by her loving sister-in-law Betty, whose kindness and support were a cherished part of her life, along with her children; Debbie and Denise. And also survived by her nieces and nephew; Michele, Mark, and Nicole and their children, Kyle, Kelsey, Colin, and Kylie.
Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper for Barlow Chevrolet in Delran, NJ, for over 45 years, where she was known for her dedication and reliability. A spirited Philadelphia sports fan, she especially loved cheering on the Eagles and the Phillies.
In her leisure time, Phyllis enjoyed trips to the casino, reading, visits to the shore, and connecting with friends and family on Facebook. She had a talent for crocheting baby blankets. Above all, Phyllis deeply loved her family and found her greatest happiness in their company.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, June 3 rd, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 103 4th Street, Riverton, NJ. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
