Ray was, is, and always will be my best friend and my brother from another mother. We met in 1979 when a mutual friend, Lenny Carl asked us to back him and his family in a street fight in S.Philadelphia. There we were 2 opposing groups of teenagers facing off across Delaware Ave. Each side was yelling obscenities and taunting the other side. It was like it was scripted for a movie we looked at each other, looked at the guys across the street, looked at each other again and just took off across the street and commenced kicking some S. Philadelphia butts. After it was over and we were victorious, We knew we had found a friend for life. That was in 1979. We were there for every major event of each other's lives. Marriage, children, divorce and marrage for the second time ( Each of us getting it right the 2nd time around) I introduced Ray to his wife JoAnne because it wasn't fair that I was married and he was single again. We always called each other brother I figured this way we would be brothers for real. When I separated from my first wife, Ray & Jo got custody of me.
