Ralph A Largent's Obituary
Ralph A. Largent, 86, of Berlin, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on September 2, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 10, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Raymond A. and Faith Largent. Ralph was a devoted husband to Mary Elaine Largent for 54 years and a loving father to Mary Faith Miner (Steve), Valerie Senter (Roy), Melissa “Missie” Hartman (Karl), Ralph “Allen” Largent (Shannon), Greg Largent (Stacey), Peter Largent (Victoria), and Nancy Elizabeth “Beth” Largent.
He was a cherished grandfather to Savanna (Joe), Steven (Alyssia), Evan, Kyle, Marissa, Hannah, John, Morgan, Alana, Richard, and Kylie, as well as a great grandfather to Richard, Asher, and Mila, with another great grandson and great granddaughter on the way. Ralph was predeceased by his sisters Joan Largent and Linda Myers, but his memory lives on in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ralph spent much of his life working as a salesman, with his most recent employment at Eastman Chemical. His passion for golf was evident, as he could often be found on the golf course, come rain or shine. He also shared his love for the St. Louis Cardinals, a nod to his father’s Missouri roots. Family vacations, especially to Ocean City, NJ, and the Poconos, were annual highlights for Ralph. He had a reputation for being impeccably dressed and will be remembered for his boundless happiness, generosity, and profound love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and for his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, September 8th, at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Saturday, September 9th, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Ralph will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.
