Raymond J. Milanese's Obituary
Raymond J. Milanese of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully with his loving family surrounding him on January 20th, 2026, at the age of 94.
Born to the late Pasquale and Filomena (nee Muccio) Milanese on May 12th, 1931, in Philadelphia, PA. Ray is reunited in death with his siblings Anthony, Salvatore, and Anna. Growing up, Ray attended Roman Catholic High School before going on to pursue his passion of music. From a young age, Ray knew he wanted to work within the music industry. He excelled in promotion and sales, eventually working his way up to Vice President of Friday Morning Quarterback Record Tip Sheet.
One day while working for Columbia Records, Ray met the love of his life, Theresa (nee DiMaria). The pair bonded over their love of music, developing a deep friendship and love that would surpass the sands of time. Theresa and Raymond married on January 12th, 1957, spending a loving 69 years together. As a couple, they enjoyed traveling, eating out at fine-dining restaurants, and going on cruises to various tropical islands and vacationing in St. Augustine, Florida. As their love grew, so did their family. Theresa and Ray welcomed their two loving children into their lives, Donna (Anthony) Chiarulli, and the late Patrick (Deborah) Milanese. Ray loved being their father. He enjoyed sharing his love of music and The Philadelphia Eagles.
As Ray’s children grew older and started families of their own, Ray gained a new title of “Pop-Pop” to his grandchildren Anthony (April) Jr., Lisa (Pat), Patrick, Michael (Marynelle), and Nicky (Carly), and his great-grandchildren Madison, Peyton, Anthony III, Paige, Carlo, and Vienna. Family meant everything to Ray, he cherished every opportunity to have a gathering for a birthday, a holiday, or an impromptu family visit. Ray made it a point to show up for every occasion so he could spend time with the people that meant the most to him.
Ray will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his kind, generous soul, and his love for his family.
