Richard G. Carvin, 84, of Moorestown, NJ, formerly of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023. Dear husband to the late Sarah “Sally” Carvin. Beloved father to Sally Anne Burrell, Donna Carvin (George), Kim Bogart (Charles) and the late Richard Carvin. Loving grandfather to Ernie, Tyler, Zachary and Karissa. Great grandfather to Quinn and Grey. Brother to Eileen Helm (Bill), the late Gerald Carvin and the late Victor Carvin.
Richard was a chemical blender at Rohm & Haas in Bridesburg for many years. After retirement, he loved to travel and camp with his wife Sally. Those that knew Richard knew that he was a man of his own, stuck in his ways.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 9:00am to 10:00am. His funeral mass will follow at 10:30 at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name Site, 260 Conrow Rd, Delran, NJ. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, StJude.org
