Richard V. Evans Jr.'s Obituary
Richard V. Evans, Jr. “Rick” passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. Born in Philadelphia to Richard and Betty Jane Evans, Rick was 74 years old. He was a resident of Bellmawr and formerly lived in Pennsauken.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Patricia A. (nee Vincent) Evans. Loving father of Connie Berki, the late Richard Michael Evans, Denise Kuzer and Arlene Grierson. Cherished Poppy to David Berki and TJ Berki. Rick is also survived by a brother and sister in law, an aunt and uncle, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Rick was employed by U-Haul in Cinnaminson for the last 16 years, retired and went back as a transfer driver.
He enjoyed the music of his favorite musician, Elvis Presley, working on cars, going to car shows and car cruises.
Most importantly, Rick loved spending time with his family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 31st, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street. His Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for children with heart problems.
