I never called him Rich. He was always Lab, and he was a character in the very best sense of the word. He had a bond with his students that was genuine and mutual. He really cared about them, and they respected him. If he was occasionally frustrated by one of them, and I agreed that he should be mad, he would then defend them.
I always looked forward to seeing him during the day. I have to admit there were times I didn't know what he was talking about. But I knew he was right
He was one of a kind. Rest in peace Lab.
So shocked and saddened to hear this. I know he and Ron are up there together trying to figure out when & how to get to DJMC! Our thoughts and prayers are with all his loved ones. ♥️

One of thee best teachers at Pennsauken high. A Proud marine that we would tease sometime about having a flashback as we called them if he got mad and yelled at us ( which rarely ever happen ).As long as you brought him a coffee or sandwich from jimmy’s lunch truck you could go there when ever you where hungry. He got me out of detention many of times. I will always remember what he told me in auto class. I think I drive a Ford pickup truck today because of him. You will be missed my friend.
