Always a loving and warm smile when he greeted you. He raised a loving, sweet family that we're blessed to know! Sending so much love and healing prayers to the entire family! xo Lory Cole
Many will miss Dick's grin and positive addition to endless conversations, while "porch sitting" at the MNO. But few can claim +46 years of the former experience w/ Dick. Eight guys (Charter Mercs) stayed close for 48 years, when you include
our IBM Philadelphia assignments (12-24 mos) together. Bold & brave, Dick broke away from IBM, after serving in IBM Mgmt, becoming successful with his own company, but NEVER letting go of the treasured friendships of eight great friends. Through the years several spouses have joined our annual MERC weekend, and we hope Ann will continue hers and Dick's tradition, attending the Merc Nozzle Open. RiP Dick, dear friend, & former 3 time proud Champion. See ya later.

I have countless memories of Dick and Ann given our many years of a beautiful friendship.
I will always remember how Dick’s handsome face would light up and his eyes would produce a blinding sparkle when he was catching me up about his children and grandchildren.
His love for them was so deep and so passionate and lined every word he was saying. He didn’t want to miss even one opportunity to share in their accomplishments.

We had a lot of good memories. One favorite was from his HS senior year and a basketball game with rival UE. Dick scored several points at the end of the game to win it, including I believe, a half courter. Big crowd at game and the UE fans went after Dick causing a big fight in the school courtyard. He was surrounded by friends and all survived.
Condolences to Ann and family. We will be thinking of you.
