Richard R. Meyers' Obituary
Richard R. Meyers, of Delanco, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2022. Born in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Richard W. and Grace (Rule) Meyers, he was 70 years old.
Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his time to his family and to works for God. He had a long career as a union carpenter before transitioning to the head of maintenance at First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown after his retirement. Richard spent many years volunteering as a Sunday School teacher and bus driver. He was passionate about God and sharing the love of God with others.
Richard was the beloved husband of 50 years to Nancy C. Meyers (Klimik); loving father of Amy Coombe, Anna Hankey (Stephen), and April Meyers; cherished grandfather of Caleb Coombe, Jordan Hankey, Sara Hankey, Stephen Hankey, Ethan Hankey, Adriana Butler, and Landon Butler; dear brother of Andrea Monticello, Laurel Coffer, and Phillip Meyers (Gloria). He was predeceased by his siblings Arnold Meyers (Debbie) and Dianna Campbell (Kevin). Richard is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him tremendously.
Relatives and friends are invited to Richard’s committal ceremony at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 4527 Route 130 S., Burlington on June 8th at 1pm.
