Richard J. O'Donnell Sr's Obituary
Richard J. O’Donnell, Sr. passed away suddenly at his residence in Moorestown on November 19, 2021. Born in Moorestown to James and Cathryn O’Donnell, Rich was 79 years old. He was a lifelong resident of Moorestown. Beloved husband of 59 years to Loretta M. (nee Snyder). Loving father of Richard J. O’Donnell, Jr. and his wife (Jennifer), Michael D. O’Donnell and former spouse (Dawn), Wayne W. O’Donnell and his wife (Arleen) and Sandra A. Harvey and her husband (Gregory). Loving grandfather to Kelley M. King husband (Chris), Kasey A. O’Donnell fiancé (Dan), Michael D. O’Donnell, Jr., Deanna M. O’Donnell, Erin C. Harvey, Kate A. O’Donnell, Caitlin G. Harvey, Emily A. O’Donnell and great grandfather to Michael D. O’Donnell, III, Austen V. King, and Nina M. King. Rich was a brother of the late James J. “Leo” O’Donnell of Moorestown.
Rich was employed a parts representative for Ransome Equipment Sales for many years in Pennsauken followed by Hale Trailer in Voorhees. Rich enjoyed archery, touring antique car shows, watching the Phillies and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 1st, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street.
Rich’s Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m.
Inurnment will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with immediate family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
