Richard F. Powell, a resident of Pennsauken, passed away on February 9th at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 59 years to Betty Gail Powell (nee Finnefrock). Dear father of Linda A. Pezzella (Anthony) and Kenneth B. Powell. Grandfather of Anthony (Julia) Pezzella, Alyssa (Ian) Ehrgood, Amanda (William) Monks and Christopher Powell. He was the brother to the late Warren Powell (Sarah) and Gloria Bendell. Richard is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends. He proudly served his country in the US Army, retired from IBM as a computer technician after 38 years to spend more time with his family. He always loved to fix things and never passed up the opportunity to help family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Richard’s Life Celebration Saturday 9-11AM at Inglesby Givnish’s of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St. followed by his service 11AM, Interment Arlington cemetery Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers donations in Richard’s name may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Ave., Phila. PA 19111.
