Richard A Robertson's Obituary
Richard A. Robertson, 80, of Cherry Hill, NJ and formerly of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2017. Loving husband to Joan Robertson (nee Edwards). Dear father to Michael Robertson, Mark A. Robertson, Brian J. Robertson and the late Richard A. Robertson, Jr. Grandfather to Mark A. Robertson, Jr., Mitchell Robertson, and Jacob Robertson. Brother to Carolyn Schreiber and the late William and late John Robertson. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
After graduating from Notre Dame University Richard began his teaching career at Riverside Elementary School. He continued in the teaching profession for 27 years.
Richard loved going to Bensalem Park , vacationing in Cape May and watching All sports especially Notre Dame football. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Richard was a devoted husband, wonderful father, Pop and a devoted friend.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends and relatives are invited to Richard’s Life celebration services on Friday, September 8th at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, from 6pm to 9pm and again on Saturday, September 9th from 8:30am to 10am. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Maple Shade at 10:30. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
