Rita M. Gannon (nee Kosmatka) passed away on October 14, 2020. Born in Camden to Stanley and Sarah Kosmatka, Rita was 90 years old. Formerly a longtime resident of Cinnaminson, her final residence was Granville Place, Burlington. Read Obituary
I had the pleasure of working with Rita at St. Paul's School in the 1980's. My children and I still talk about the shows in which they participated. Rita and Sr. Peter were an invincible team and they created lasting memories for many students. My condolences to the family. May she rest in peace.

I will always remember the shows Mrs. Gannon organized for us students at St. Charles. We sang Christmas songs in the Moorestown and Cherry Hill Malls, and then there were the spring productions. Looking back, she had to have had such patience with us students. But what memories! (and I graduated St. Charles in 1973). And my Mother was in the church choir for years. She was a very special and talented woman. I have no doubt she will be missed.
To all the Gannon Clan as Rita would call it. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rita was well loved at Granville Place.. She always had a kind word to say to everyone and plenty of candy to give out.. I will most remember Rita for her love of music. We have a Christmas Choir every year at Granville Place and Rita would lead the way from picking out the songs to placing the Residents in the right spots. This year the show must go on as they say.. We will be singing in her honor. Thank you Rita for bringing such joy and happiness to my life as well as the residents and staff of Granville Place.
So many memories from growing up doing Mrs. Gannon performances at St. Charles Elementary school to being her coworker for two years when i first started teaching 37 years ago. She may be why I am the chair of my kid's school district music booster club. May you keep the angels singing!!!

I was a junior in college when I joined the choir of St. Charles with Rita directing. It was a blessing joining our voices in praise to God alongside my future (now) bride, her dear mother, and so many now gone, and some still singing today. Rita magnified my love of the Lord through music ministry, and entrusted me with her choir when she asked me to take her place in 1989. I remember her fondly, and celebrate her faith and spirit every time I lead worship in song, and always will.
