Robert Lee Aguero's Obituary
Robert Lee Aguero, of Delran, NJ, passed away on January 1, 2021. Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA, and resided in Delran, NJ for the last 27 years.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Cindy Aguero (nee Nocitra). He was the loving father of Peter Aguero (Sara), Michelle Sullivan (Ray), and Lauren Plett (Jacob). His most cherished role was that of Pop Pop of Landon and Kelsey Plett. Bob is also survived by his sisters Mary Mariner (Phil) and Virginia Wuest (Bruce) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Gertrude and Bob Walsh and brothers Roy, Allon, and Joe.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and is a decorated Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He retired from Campbell Soup Company in 2012 after 20 years where he worked as a Master Experimental Machinist. Bob was a loyal blood donor who managed to donate an impressive total of more than 5 gallons. Bob was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and realized a dream when his beloved Eagles won SuperBowl LII in 2018.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Saturday January 9, from 10 am to 11 am. A memorial service will begin at 11 am, followed by inurnment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Masks, social distancing, and crowd restrictions will be enforced.
