Robert Ashby's Obituary
Robert Ashby, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away February 26, 2013. He was 92 years old.
Robert was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran and fought during WWII. He had a 55 year membership certificate as a steamfitter for the Local Union 420 in Philadelphia, and also formed the Mechanical Engraving Contractors in Philadephia.
Robert was the beloved husband of the late Katherine ?Kass? (nee Weiler). Loving father of Robert Jr. (Anita) of Tennessee, Evelyn Turocy (Rick) of Mount Laurel, and Jim (Carol) of Delanco. Dear grandfather of Bobby, Cassie, Suzanne and Courtney, and great-grandfather of Anthony, Tommy, Ellie and Stevie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert?s Life Celebration on Friday, March 1, at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., from 10:30 ? 11:30 am. His prayer service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Brigadier Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roberts name may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
