Robert L Barber's Obituary
Robert L. Barber of Leisuretowne, NJ, 81, formerly of Marlton, NJ passed away on August 12, 2016 at Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly after a short battle with lung cancer. Mr. Barber is survived by his wife, Blanche (Bonnie) Barber (nee Simon), and his 5 children; Bob Barber (Cheryl), Lynne Darrah (Neil), Scott Barber, Mark Barber (Heather), and Stacy Barber (Damian). He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren.
Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps in the First Tank Battalion Flame Platoon from 1952- 1956.
Friends and relatives are invited to Robert's Life Celebration services on Thursday, August 18th from 9:00-11:00am at Inglesby Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street. His memorial service will begin at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warriors Project or Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
