Robert P. Dinan Jr.'s Obituary
Robert P. Dinan, Jr., of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Robert P. and Ann (née Talley) Dinan, Sr.
Robert proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran during the Vietnam era. Following his military service, he worked as a printer for Havertown Printing, dedicating many years to his craft.
He was the devoted husband of the late Caryl Dinan (née Alexander), and the loving father of Robert Dinan (Sandi) and Richard Dinan. He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Regina, Kristen, and Robert Dinan.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Charles Dinan, Thomas Dinan, and Annette Dinan Fischbach.
A passionate sports fan, Robert loved following high school, college, and professional athletics. He was a lifelong supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and Sixers. He also enjoyed vacationing and treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Robert will be remembered for his kind heart, steady presence, and deep love for his family
and community.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, August 16th from 10:30-11:30 am at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ. His Mass will begin at 11:30 am. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite sports team jersey or t-shirt in lieu of formal attire. Please no Dallas sports apparel! Interment in Brigadier William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org, or Tunnels to Towers Foundation, www.t2t.org
