Robert L. Eboch, Jr., of Moorestown, passed away on December 24th, 2025. He was 80 years old. Robert was born in Camden, NJ, on February 12th, 1945, to the late Robert L. Eboch, Sr. and the late Anna Eboch (nee Strong). Devoted husband to Sherry (nee Shinn).
Beloved father to Robert III, Timothy (Amy), and Erin Kanpp (Alex). Loving brother to Barb Brown (late Charles) and Don (Jane). Cherished uncle to his Nieces and nephews.
Bob was born on February 12, 1945, while his father, like many other Dads, was in Europe fighting in WWII. When Bob was 3 years old his dad moved the family to a home on Moore Street in Lenola (Moorestown), NJ. Bob lived the remainder of his life on Moore Street in #118 and then in #109.
At sixteen (16) Bob joined the Lenola Volunteer Fire Company. For the next five decades Bob served the fire company as a fireman and a member of the Emergency Squad, an EMT and a CPR instructor. During that time Bob attended the Baptist Conference Center Camp (Camp Lebanon) first as a camper but soon as a camp counselor. In 2016 Bob retired from the two companies of fifty (50) years after impacting many lives.
After graduating from Moorestown Senior High School Bob attended and graduated from Rutgers College in South Camden, New Jersey, in 1967. Upon graduation Bob began a teaching career as a middle school science teacher in Collingswood, NJ. Bob taught there for forty-nine (49) years, retiring in 2016. Throughout his tenure at Collingswood Middle School Bob took on responsibilities for the audio-visual aid club, teaching middle school students how to operate various types of equipment to assist teachers. Bob also took control of the upper grade student stage crew who provided technical lighting and sound support for school plays and other performances.
With a real love of electronics and things technical Bob started Omega Communications Company to provide sound services to numerous local and state pageants and support to local first responders with communication-radio installation and repair. Bob earned his General Radiotelephone Operator (HAM) license in 1985 which he would later use extensively in the Civil Air Patrol.
With a real heart for service Bob used his talents to assist a group in restoring and maintaining electronic equipment on board the Battleship New Jersey, with his son Tim joining the Civil Air Patrol in 1999 as a communications officer. In September 2006 Major Robert Eboch was promoted to the leadership position for his squadron. In September 2025 Bob was awarded a Certificate of Retirement acknowledging more than 23 years of service.
Bob also faithfully served Calvary Church Delran providing technical sound services for worship and working with students in “Kidz Zone” as well as hosting the Wednesday night church Zoom meetings.
As a husband, father, brother, uncle, teacher, and friend Robert Lynn Eboch, Jr., is remembered with much love and affection. Those who knew him should rejoice knowing that now Bob knows life as never before. To God be all glory and praise.
