Robert L. Galante's Obituary
Robert L. “Geeter” Galante (July 8, 1957) of Center City, Mantua, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2025 with his daughter by his side. Family and friends visited throughout the week, sharing stories and happy memories.
Son of the late John and Florence Galante (nee Stante). Survived by his daughter Karalyn Dutill (Ben), Siblings John Galante (Vicki), Patricia Sebastiani (the late Andrea), and Richard Galante (Marilyn). Nephew to Rudy and Nancy Ricca. Also survived by aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Robert enjoyed working for many years in fire protection. He was passionate about his work bidding jobs, installing and engineering sprinkler systems.
Robert loved preparing meals and eating delicious foods, especially his favorite Ponzio’s stuffed shrimp and clams casino or a nice Prime Rib. Robert had an ability to tackle almost any project put in front of him, like fixing up his home, tinkering with computers or landscaping the yard. Robert was stubborn in nature but had a kind heart, enjoying his life to the fullest while spending time with family and friends. His jokes were like no other. Robert enjoyed many adventures, from sky diving and jet skiing to playing paintball with his daughter in the backyard when she was young. He had a love for all animals, spending his final days with his daughter’s dogs next to him.
