Robert Earl Hussey's Obituary
Robert Earl Hussey passed away on June 14, 2022. He was born on August 10th 1945 to the late Lossie Bell Brown and Theodore Brown who precedes him in death. Robert was educated in the Kinston North Carolina public school district graduating and joining The United States Military serving in the army for 3 years. He moved to Philadelphia shortly after his Honorable Discharge and began working at a local bakery. In 1986 Robert joined Amalgamated Transit Union as a New Jersey Transit Bus Driver. HE LOVED HIS JOB; in which he received many awards for having perfect attendance. Robert worked EVERY SINGLE DAY in the year 1991.
Robert didn’t just have a love for cars but an infatuation with them. To know him is to know that he would have two to four cars at one time. Constantly switching and swapping them was his passion. Lincoln, Cadillac, Toyota, Ford; you name it, he had it.
However, this was not his only love. Robert was a Numbers Guy. You tell him your Birthday and Not only will he remember every year but he will use your Birthday to play his lottery. Robert had a fixation with the lottery and one day hitting it big. He drove everyone crazy about playing his numbers for him. Robert showed his love for people by making you laugh, making sure there was money in your pocket and he wants to know if your car is running good. His Loyalty, Love and Commitment was Unmatched.
Robert was known for being Neat and Organized & Being On Time. Robert Always Said, " I'm Going to Do It My Way." He Definitely Set the Example for Others to Remain Self Sufficient and to Live the Life You Want. He Carried these Traits with him for his Entire Life.
