Robert C McGann Sr's Obituary
Robert Charles McGann Sr. was a proud Moorestown native, moving to Maple Shade in 1970, but never forgetting his family's deep routes in the town he was born. He served in the Army, and was a truck driver for the remainder of his career, finally retiring from Roadway after 25 years to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He spent his summers taking care of his pool, and taking long drives to Brigantine beach to soak up the sun and walk the boardwalk. With his wife, he was a blue ribbon orchid grower. He was an avid member of multiple orchid communities, annually attending the Philadelphia Flower show. He loved Philadelphia sports teams, and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies and was looking forward to another Eagles Superbowl win! Go Birds! He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita, his 3 children: Anita, Barbara (TJ) and Robert Jr. (Robin), his 14 grandchildren: Delia (Michael), Sean (Cassandra), Lynda (Jennifer), Kevin Robert, John, Felicia, Helen (Preston), Marguerite, Edward Charles, Cailynn, Addison, Silas, Alexandria Mae, Declan and his 4 great-grandchildren: Nolan, Coltan, Rory, and Elliot.
