Robert Bruce Montgomery's Obituary
Robert Bruce Montgomery, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2025, at the age of 61. Born in Mount Holly, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert Thomas and Anita (née Giannetto) Montgomery.
Robert was the beloved and devoted father of Paige Montgomery (Frank), Erica Montgomery, and Anthony Montgomery; cherished Pop Pop of Harrison and Lennon; and the loving partner of Jenny King. He was also the dear brother of Beth Bass (Matthew) and Bonnie Montgomery, and a treasured uncle to Devi, Toviah, Aliyah, and Kay.
He worked as an engineer after graduating from Drexel University. His passion for his career was unmatched as he was always passionate to continue to learn. He was also a very talented artist, with his pieces hanging around his home.
Over the years, his daughter Erica brought home three dogs - Mia, Franco, and Vedder. He didn't ask for any of them, but he ended up walking them daily, sneaking them treats, and forming a bond with each one. They became his constant companions and a source of joy. Robert will be deeply missed by their three dogs.
Robert was an active member of the Penn Del Archers & Black Knight Bow Benders Archery Club, where he enjoyed not only practicing his craft but also mentoring others as an instructor. He also enjoyed setting up hikes for his meet up groups. His passion for archery was matched only by his devotion to his family and the warmth he brought to those around him.
He will be remembered for his big heart, quiet strength, and unwavering support for those he loved.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Tuesday July 22 from 9:30 – 11:30 am. A service of remembrance and sharing will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be private.
