Robert J. Picollo's Obituary
Robert J. Picollo, 82, of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023. Born on November 5, 1940 to the late Philip and Marion (nee Fusco) Picollo.
Devoted husband to Dolores G. Picollo (nee DiBella) for 56 years. Dear father to Rev. Christopher Picollo and the late Brian Picollo. Brother to John Picollo (Marge) and the late Susan Picollo. Brother-in-law to Edward and Darlene Fierko. Loving uncle to J.J. (Nicole), Kevin (Sharon), Donna (Michael) and Jason. Great uncle to Michael, Ryan, Lauren, Abigail, Megan, and Brendan. He will be missed by many friends and other relatives.
Bob worked as an accountant for the Naval Audit Service and then later as an auditor for the Environmental Protection Agency. He was very passionate about his involvement with his parish of St. Joan of Arc. Bob was a fixture in the parish, attending daily Mass and volunteering in many different capacities to help make St. Joan of Arc the vibrant parish it is today.
Bob also enjoyed sports – from coaching Chris and his friends’ baseball and basketball teams, to playing softball, to rooting on his favorite Philadelphia sports teams. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on June 2nd from 10:00am to 11:30am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Marlton, NJ. His funeral mass will follow at 11:30am. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
