Robert Edward Rader's Obituary
Robert Edward Rader, of Palmyra, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Edward and Emily (nee Kimball) Rader, Robert lived a long and full life of 90 years.
Robert was predeceased by his beloved first wife, Reina (nee Smith) and beloved second wife, Maria Rader (nee Maiorana). He is survived by his devoted daughter, Deborah Wesler (Ken), and cherished grandchildren, Alexander and Samantha. He was also the loving longtime partner of Lee Rozinski, with whom he shared many wonderful memories. They especially cherished their camping trips to Lancaster County, moments made even sweeter when their grandchildren tagged along. Robert and Lee loved wandering through flea markets and antique shops together, sharing in the joy of each unique find. Robert also found happiness while tending to his herb and flower garden, traveling and exploring new places, and dancing.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Robert served during the Korean War with honor and dedication. Following his military service, he worked for many years at the Philadelphia Navy Shipyard, where he forged lasting friendships and took great pride in his work.
Robert was deeply involved in the Palmyra community and remained active with the Palmyra Seniors, where he was known for his warm smile and willingness to lend a hand. He and Lee were avid ballroom dancers, delighting friends and family with their enthusiasm, grace, and joyful energy on the dance floor.
Robert will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and the love he had for his family and community. His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched.
