Robert Michael Sherlock's Obituary
Robert Michael Sherlock, of Mount Laurel, formerly of Medford, NJ, passed away on November 19, 2024. Born in Camden, NJ, to the late Furman and Helen (nee Quinn) Sherlock, he was 72 years old.
Bob was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Dunn); loving father of Elizabeth Bliese (Aaron) and Gregory Sherlock (Arianna); cherished Grandpop of Gunnar and Aila Sherlock; dear brother of Barbara O’Breza (John), William Sherlock (Patricia), Francis Sherlock (Christine), and Patricia Sherlock. “Uncle Bob” is also survived by his Sherlock nieces and nephews, as well as extended family members and lifelong friends who will miss him greatly and cherish so many fond and funny memories.
For many years, Bob worked alongside his brothers Bill and Frank at Bi-Tech, a precision sheet metal manufacturing company. A lifelong automotive enthusiast, Bob later put his passion to work in a second career selling Cadillacs and BMWs. Over the years, Bob proudly owned too many cars and motorcycles to count and will be remembered for his love of a good meal and a great game, and his big, affable personality. Above all, his greatest achievement was his steadfast devotion and unwavering support of Pat, Greg, Liz, and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, on Tuesday, November 26th from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. His funeral Mass will be held at 12 pm at St. Mary’s of the Lakes Parish, 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ, followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, 2398 Route 70 W. in Cherry Hill.
Bob was blessed with many additional years because a donor family made the selfless decision to be his heart donor.
