Robert E. Viereck's Obituary
Robert “Bob” E. Viereck age 73 of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Maryann “Min” Viereck; his daughter, Amy (Michael) Boyes; his son, Matthew (Katie) Viereck; and his cherished granddaughters, Samantha Rei, Katie Grace, Charlotte Jean, and Leigh Denise.
He is also survived by his loving sisters, Sandra (late John) McNally, Maureen (Michael) Fry, and Lisa (Joseph) Morrison; and his in-laws Jackie White and Kathleen (late Joseph) Reichner. Bob was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Harry White.
A dedicated Philadelphia Police Officer for 33 years, Bob retired in 2005 and enjoyed his years in Cape May County. He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Elks, the Moose, and the Choir Boys Golf Club.
Bob will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Avalon Links Golf Club 1510 US-9, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
