Robert G. Whicker's Obituary
Robert G. “ BDub” Whicker passed away peacefully on April 5, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born in Winston-Salem, NC, Bob was 83 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1961. Beloved husband of the late Catherine “Kate” (nee Boyle) Whicker. Loving father of Susan (James) Lafferty and the late Pamela (James) McCartney. Cherished grandfather of Erin and Jamie McCartney and Moira and Seamus Lafferty. Uncle of Cathy (Phil) Clapper. Bob proudly served his country in the US Army. He was employed with PECO for many years, retiring 25 years ago. After his retirement, Bob was an ambassador for Rancocas Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf. Bob and Kate enjoyed spending many winters in Myrtle Beach. Bob was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, he was thrilled that the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bob’s Life Celebration and viewing Monday Eve 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 10 - 11 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
