Robert C. Wiener's Obituary
Robert C. Wiener, 95, of Mount Laurel, NJ, formerly longtime resident of Delran, NJ, passed away on November 10, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harry and Marion Wiener. Devoted husband to the late Kathleen J. Wiener (nee White) for 56 years before her passing in 2016. Dear father to Patricia Ford (Roger) and Barbara Kelley (Michael Muskey). Beloved grandfather to Julia and Kevin Ford, Adam, Hannah and Katherine Kelley. Brother to the late Russell Marvin Wiener. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Bob and Kathleen raised their family in Delran, NJ for many years. He grew up in Philadelphia when resources were scarce as a boy during WW2 , but went to work right out of high school at a building supply company in Philadelphia making his way into sales and eventually into Vice President and partial owner of the company. He was a member of the National guard during the early part of the Vietnam War .Bob volunteered his time coaching for many years girls soccer and softball for The Delran Athletic Association.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, November 16th at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again the next morning from 10:00am to 11:00am. Robert’s funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Jesus Bread of Life Cemetery in Mount Laurel, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s name may be made to the American Heart Association www.Heart.org
